We are seeking a skilled and dependable Van OTR Truck Driver to join our transportation team.
As a Van OTR Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and driving a commercial van over long distances to deliver goods to various destinations.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate a commercial van to transport goods over long distances, following all traffic laws and regulations.
Plan and execute routes efficiently, considering traffic conditions, delivery schedules, and customer requirements.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling, securing, and documentation of goods.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the van to ensure roadworthiness, identifying and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper securing of cargo, defensive driving techniques, and safe vehicle operation.
Maintain accurate logs and records of driving activities, including hours of service, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to provide updates on delivery status, delays, or any other relevant information.
Follow company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Monitor vehicle performance, including fuel consumption, tire pressure, and general maintenance needs, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a clean and organized van, ensuring that it is presentable and in good condition at all times.
Assist with loading and unloading of cargo, if necessary, ensuring the safety and integrity of the goods.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial van driver or OTR truck driver.
Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices.
Excellent driving skills, with a commitment to safety and compliance.
Ability to handle and secure different types of cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and load balance.
Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and electronic logging devices.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members, customers, and dispatchers.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while on the road.
Strong time management and organizational skills to meet delivery schedules.
Physical stamina and the ability to sit, stand, and drive for long periods.
Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and travel overnight, as required.
